Harel specializes in complex commercial and administrative litigation, provides ongoing advice to corporations and with 16 years of experience handled a wide variety of cases.
Harel began his professional career in 2008 at the legal department of the Government Companies Authority, where he was exposed to the activities of all the major big companies in the Isareli market among which are – Israel Railways, Israel Electric Corporation (IEC), Mekorot, Israel Port Authority, Military Industries and more.
Since 2009, Harel has represented private clients and corporations in the fields of infrastructure, construction, energy, tourism and hospitality, including giant corporations from the leading sectors of the economy, local authorities, a banking corporation, government companies and more. Among the legal cases in which he has been involved in recent years, we can name a wide variety of complex disputes which include, among other things, the representation of shareholders in internal control disputes, representation of directors who were personally sued by the bondholders of the company, representing an energy company in a dispute caused by an oil spill in the Mediterranean Sea, representing an engineering company in a dispute with a major international corporation having a complex dispute with his venture partner, representing a private client in an administrative petition against the Ministry of Finance due to his disqualification from participating in a tender, representing a local authority in an administrative petition filed against it alleging bias in the management of a tender and more.
Harel serves as a member in the Litigation Department of the Israeli Bar Association, in the Administrative Law Committee and in the Government Companies Committee.
Prior to the establishment of OKHG Law Firm, Harel was a partner at the Friedman Yunger & Co Law Firm.
Harel holds a Bachelor of Law Degree (LL.B) from the College of Management Academic Studies.
