Yoav’s main practice and experience lies in the field of Commercial Law and Company Law, with a unique specialty in international transactions, companies, High-Tech and Bio-Tech ventures through all their stages – from establishment, fundraising, research and development stages, including commercialization and up to the sale of products and services and “exit” transactions – the sale/ merger of the company’s shares or assets.
Through the stages of establishing businesses and companies, Yoav consults and accompanies the founders’/ partnership agreements, diverse financing agreements (investment, convertible loan, Safe and more), purchase of a franchise or license to use, consultation and employment agreements, option plans for employees and consultants and alike. Yoav advises research and development companies on technological experts’ agreements, development agreements, clinical trials’ agreement, agreements with academic institutions and research labs and on the aspects of obtaining funding from the Innovation Authority. Yoav accompanies and consults companies and business in the fields of services, stages of commercialization and the sale of products together with distribution and production agreements, licensing (including OEM), franchising, terms of use and privacy policy (in relation to websites, software and applications) and on obligations in respect of databases and privacy in compliance with the Privacy Protection Law.
Over the years Yoav represented business and commercial clients in various fields: in the field of technology – companies in the field of cyber, medical equipment, security technology, software companies in the field of website accessibility; in the field of services and production – aluminum companies, medical services for animals, manufacturers in the metal industry, escape rooms, producers of musical shows and more; in the field of internet – restaurant owners, flower shops, travel websites in Israel and abroad and more. Yoav has experience and close familiarity with the conduct of family companies and businesses, including the planning for the establishment of family businesses and companies, regulating relationships in existing family businesses and companies and the dissolution and sale of family businesses and companies.
Yoave is experienced in international practice and a substantial part of his work is carried out in English.
Prior to the establishment of the Firm, Yoav was employed in the International and High-Tech Department of Gross, Kleinhendler, Hodak, Halevy, Greenberg, Shenhav & Co. Law Firm (GKH).
Yoav holds a Bachelor Degree in Law (LL.B) from the College of Management Academic Studies (graduated with honors).
Member of the Israeli Bar Association since 2009.
