Sahar Biry specializes in civil-commercial law, with in-depth expertise in real estate law and real estate taxation. Sahar provides construction companies, private clients, entrepreneurs, purchasing groups and real estate investors with full support at all stages of the transaction – starting from the initial stage of land acquisition, through engagements with professionals, licensing support and obtaining permits, engagement with a lending entity, and up to the actual delivery of the units and registration of rights in the land registries.
Among the services that Sahar provides are ongoing advice and support in sales and purchase transactions, combinations, commercial and private rentals, TAMA 38 transactions and urban renewal (evacuation-construction), projects for saturated construction and self-construction, entrepreneurial projects, areas and agricultural lands in the stages of changing their designation, as well as transfers between relatives. For over a decade, Sahar has been working regularly with government ministries, local authorities, the Israel Lands Administration, and land registration bureaus, and is knowledgeable in both legal and practical procedures at all stages of the real estate transaction.
In the field of real estate taxation, Sahar provides transaction-specific legal advice, and specializes in examining aspects of purchase tax, capital gains tax, tax exemptions, unique transactions (such as resale, plots, division between heirs), and early tax planning that can prevent strategic errors, save significant costs, and reduce risks.
Sahar began her professional career after serving in the IDF with the rank of lieutenant, and has since led a department specializing in real estate and urban renewal. She comes from leading law firms in the field of civil law, including Kleser Bergman, Liane Kahat, Zeira David, Zvi Shob and Solomon Lipshitz & Co.
Graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with a specialization in contracts, professional ethics and real estate law, and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in civil law – Bar Ilan University – with a specialization in taxes, tender law and corporate acquisitions.
Member of the Israel Bar Association since 2013.
